How do the rate levels influence the price of rides?

Each rate level corresponds to following parameters: a start rate, a price per km, a price per minute and a minimum fare.

For each ride request, Lymo calculates the estimated ride price by applying the chosen parameters to the estimated ride duration and lenght.

The estimated price is shown to the rider with a price range going from the estimated price -12% for the bottom of the range to +12% for the top of the range.

When a driver defines his “Own rate” he has the possibility to define the range width shown to the rider (max 24%, as requested by the PCTN in Geneva).
